Finding Faith begins each day waiting on God with a prayer to help us slow down, breathe deep, and tune in to the quiet and urgent needs around us. Today, we’re praying for those who are waiting on God for healing, for clarity, for something to shift. Psalm 34: 17-18 is where we travel.
Wednesday, July 23: Today we lift up those who’ve been praying for a long time. Maybe you’ve whispered the same words night after night. Maybe you’ve cried out in frustration or sat in silence, wondering if God hears you. I’m sure you’re all in your emotions too. Yep, you’re there: The 11th Hour.
You’re not forgotten. You’re not invisible. Even when the answer hasn’t come, God is near. Sometimes waiting on God can take us to places mentally we’re not ready for. It’s ok.
May peace meet you in the waiting. May hope rise even when it’s hard to believe. And may you know—deep down—that God answer your prayer, even when it doesn’t look the way you expected.

Waiting On God: Bible Reading to Consider
Psalm 34:17–18
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Finding Faith In Liturgy: A Moment of Prayer
Call: Finding faith isn’t about having it all together. It’s about showing up—tired, hopeful, unsure—and trusting that God is listening.
Response: God who sees and hears, Hold every heart that’s waiting. Speak peace into the silence. Answer in Your time, in Your way.
Call: For those praying through tears and walking through uncertainty— may comfort come gently and love stay close.
Response: In You, we are not alone. In You, the answer is love. In You, we find faith.
Amen.
Each day, Get Prayer Today offers a prayer to center our hearts and lift up the needs of the world around us. Finding Faith gives these simple offerings to support your rhythm of reflection, healing, and community care.
