Finding Faith begins each day waiting on God with a prayer to help us slow down, breathe deep, and tune in to the quiet and urgent needs around us. Today, we’re praying for those who are waiting on God for healing, for clarity, for something to shift. Isaiah 40:31 is where we travel.
August 2, 2025: There’s a hush in the early hours of the morning. The world is doing it’s thing. It’s the usual stuff. There’s space and stillness that invites us to relax. Today, I want to speak to those who are walking through hard seasons. This won’t make headlines but leave a mark on the soul. However, it will test our faith, stretch our patience, and leave us wondering if God still sees us. That’s what matters.

I’ve lived long enough to know that trusting God isn’t always easy. It’s not a switch we flip or a feeling we conjure. It’s a decision to believe that God is still good, still sovereign, still near. You make this decision every minute you breathe. Even when the path is dark, the answers don’t come and when the silence feels deafening.
Trusting God Through Hard Seasons Is A Learning Experience Over Time
Isaiah 40:31 offers a promise that has carried many weary hearts through the wilderness: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
That verse doesn’t promise immediate relief. It doesn’t guarantee a quick fix. But it does offer strength for the journey. Strength to keep walking, believing, to keep trusting.
A Prayer In Trusting God Through Hard Seasons
Father, we come to You today not with polished words, but with honest hearts. Some of us are tired. Tired of waiting, hurting. Tired of wondering when the breakthrough will come. And yet, we choose to trust You. Not because it’s easy , but because You are faithful.
You’ve proven Yourself time and time again. You’ve carried us through storms we thought would drown us and you’ve been our refuge when everything else crumbled.
Today, we ask for renewed strength. For the one who feels forgotten, remind them they are seen. Whoever is grieving, wrap them in Your comfort. For the one who’s questioning—meet them in the mystery. And for all of us, Lord, help us to wait well. To trust deeply. To walk forward with courage, knowing You walk with us.
Amen.
Each day, Get Prayer Today offers a prayer to center our hearts and lift up the needs of the world around us. Finding Faith gives these simple offerings to support your rhythm of reflection, healing, and community care.
