Finding Faith begins each day waiting on God with a prayer to help us wait and trust. Today, we’re praising the God who doesn’t just hear our prayers—He responds with wisdom, mercy, and love. Psalm 66:19–20 is where we travel.
Thursday, July 24: Praising the God Who Answers: Today we lift up every moment when God showed up, especially when we needed answers the most. Personally, I thank God for providing my wife today answers to a medical issue that has been bothering her for days. Prayerfully, we’re a few steps away from solving some health issues.
Here’s the deal: God answers prayers. Not always with fireworks. Not always with speed. But always with a purpose. Sometimes things have to happen for things to happen, and that first thing that happened? Rough. Remember: Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Hang in there.
May your heart remember the goodness. Give thanks for any revelation you get. And may you know—deep down—that God answers prayers, and His love never fails.

Praising The God Who Answers: Bible Reading to Consider
Psalm 66:19–20
But God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
Finding Faith In Liturgy: A Moment of Prayer
- Call: Finding faith isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up—grateful, weary, hopeful—and trusting that God is good.
- Response: God who answers, We praise You for every whisper heard, every mercy given, every love revealed. You are faithful.
- Call: For those still waiting, may praise rise before the answer comes.
- Response: In You, we are not forgotten. In You, the answer is love. In You, we find faith. Praise Jesus.
Amen.
