This morning prayer is for the person who woke up to emails making him or her feel like they’re not enough. God has put you where you are for a great moment. Even then, Lord, I’m trying.
I don’t think people realize the other person’s situations when they send messages. Recently I was sent two messages about some things that needed tending to. I politely responded, but it still bothers me. Why is that?
It is bothersome because we want to believe people consider the call God has on your life and they don’t. They may only see you as a tool to move their mountains and that can be annoying. This morning, let’s be encouraged with a morning prayer to start your day. You are doing what God has called you to do, the fruit of your works reflect that. Don’t let one person darken the day that has yet to begin.

Morning Prayer: Lord, I’m Trying
Lord, I’m faced with people who don’t realize that you sent me to do great works for you according to your pace and not theirs. Sometimes I feel that I’m taken advantage of because of my abilities. Many of my abilities are wrapped in your power, so they do not know how they work, they just want me to work.
Maybe it’s me, but I feel the people I’m around are more materialistic than they are spiritual. They focus on buildings and lots when they forget the person who needs a visit or prayer. I try not to get angry, but at the same time I do not like being talked at. Lord, I’m trying.
Help me be patient and please reveal lessons on life that can be shared with these people so they gently see a course correction and not someone angry at them. I don’t want that. They have been around people who have not cared about them for years. It has to be culture shock when they get around people that hear them and I get that too.
Help them remember I have things going on as well. Do not remove me Lord, for I know what my tasks are as you show me, and I can handle it with you out front. However, show them a day in the life so they may understand the pacing and have their answers given in gentleness and in love.
In Jesus name, Amen.
