Finding Faith begins each day waiting on God with a prayer to help us slow down, breathe deep, and tune in to the quiet and urgent needs around us. Today, we’re grateful and thankful for everyone who’s made it to the end of a long week—maybe barely. 1 Thessalonians 5:16–19 is where we travel.
July 25, 2025: Today we lift up the weary but still-standing. You made it to Friday. You showed up even when you didn’t feel like it. You kept going through the fog, the pressure, the quiet battles. And now, here you are.
Take a breath. Let that sigh turn into a quiet hallelujah.

Maybe this week didn’t go as planned. Maybe it wore you down more than it lifted you up. But even in that, we can still say it together:
“I’m grateful and thankful.”
Not because everything was perfect, but because Jesus Christ carried us anyway.
If you’re holding onto hope for better days, you’re not alone. He who brought you to this point isn’t done yet. There is still grace for what’s ahead.
May peace settle in.
May joy peek through.
And may you find yourself both grateful and thankful for the strength that got you here—and the hope that’s guiding you forward.
Grateful And Thankful: Bible Reading to Consider: 1 Thessalonians 5:16–19
16 Rejoice always,
17 pray continually,
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
Finding Faith in Liturgy: A Moment of Prayer
- Call: God, thank You for bringing us through this week.
- Response: Some of us came through joyfully, others just barely. But here we are—and we’re grateful.
- Call: Help us to rest, breathe, and remember that You’ve been faithful through it all.
- Response: Fill our hearts with gratitude, and fix our eyes on the hope You give.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
