NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Prayer News Alert) — NAPERVILLE, Ill. WBGL will hold a community outreach event on Tuesday at Compass Church in South Naperville. They will be offering residents free ice scrapers and parking lot prayer.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2903 103rd Street. Visitors will receive a free WBGL ice scraper and may meet Weez and Denise, hosts from WBGL radio. They will pray with attendees and offer encouragement.

The event, part of WBGL’s ongoing community outreach efforts, aims to strengthen local connections. It also helps residents prepare for winter. Through simple acts of kindness, the station hopes to remind people that faith, prayer, and generosity can bring warmth even on the coldest days.

Prayer for the Event
Father, I bring this outreach before You and ask for Your presence to fill every moment. You already know each person who will arrive. You see their worries, their hopes, and the questions they carry inside. Meet them the moment they step onto that lot. Surround them with peace that quiets every anxious thought. Replace stress with calm and uncertainty with clarity.
Lord, prepare Weez and Denise as they welcome each visitor. Give them patience, discernment, and words that speak directly to the heart. Let every prayer they offer carry comfort and encouragement. Help them recognize when someone simply needs to be heard, and give them the right words to restore hope.
Use this WBGL prayer outreach to remind the community that no one stands alone. Let Your presence rest on every conversation, every greeting, and every moment of prayer. Heal the weary. Strengthen those who feel tired. Lift the discouraged and bring joy to those who have forgotten how to smile.
I mean, really Lord, it’s hard out here for everyone. Even if you got money, the mind is weak, angry, and nervous. We need you more than ever before in this world that is losing its way. However we Thank God we stand in the gap sharing the Gospel.
Father, even something as small as a free WBGL ice scraper can hold meaning. When icy mornings come, let each person who received one remember that You provide for daily needs. Turn this small gift into a reminder of Your steady care and constant guidance.
Cover the parking lot with Your protection. Keep each vehicle safe as people come and go. Let courage rise in those who feel hesitant to ask for prayer. Open hearts to receive peace, forgiveness, and reassurance. Remove distractions so every visitor can experience Your presence fully.
Lord, bless WBGL radio for serving the community with generosity and compassion. Strengthen their entire team with unity and endurance. Continue expanding their reach so they can inspire more listeners across Illinois. Let this event become more than a simple giveaway, let it become a testimony of Your faithfulness and love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
