This weekend’s Saturday blessings of encouragement come from a place of taking a few Ls this week. Maybe you need something to help you shake the week off too. If you’re planning to stay in bed all day, let it be to rest, not to hide. Rest is not weakness, it’s part of recovery. I’m up, ready for the day as usual. Even if it hurts a little, I’m showing up anyway.
Inspired by Joshua 1:9 : “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9 reminds us that courage doesn’t mean feeling strong; it means standing up when your soul wants to lie down. God’s presence gives power to small movements, a shower, a prayer, a walk, a breath. So wherever you find yourself this Saturday, take heart. You’re not alone.
Here are ten blessings to carry into your weekend. Read them slowly. Let them inspire life back into you.
Saturday Blessings of Encouragement: Stay Strong
1. Blessing of Strength
May you rise with strength that surprises you. May today bring the energy to face what felt too heavy yesterday. God hasn’t forgotten you, He’s rebuilding you piece by piece.
2. Blessing of Courage
May fear lose its grip as faith takes its place. Courage isn’t loud; sometimes it’s just getting out of bed and whispering, “I’m trying again.” That counts.
3. Blessing of Peace
May your heart exhale. Let peace settle like sunlight through open curtains. You don’t have to fix everything today, just rest in His calm.
4. Blessing of Hope
May hope rise like morning light. Even if the week drained you, remember, the story isn’t over. God still writes in color after every storm.
5. Blessing of Faith
May faith steady your thoughts. When doubt shows up, remind yourself: the same God who carried you this far won’t stop now.
6. Blessing of Gratitude
May you notice one good thing, the smell of coffee, a song you love, the way light hits your wall. Gratitude heals what worry wears down.
7. Blessing of Kindness
May kindness meet you today, and may you pass it forward. Someone’s waiting for a smile or gentle word that only you can give.
8. Blessing of Purpose
May you see meaning in small things, washing dishes, folding laundry, sending a text. Ordinary moments can still carry holy weight.
9. Blessing of New Beginnings
May this Saturday reset your heart. Start fresh, no matter how messy the week was. God loves rebuilding stories, yours included.
10. Blessing of Rest
When night comes, may peace wrap around you like a blanket. May you sleep knowing you showed up for yourself and that God showed up too.
🙏 Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for walking with me through this week, the wins, the losses, the quiet moments I didn’t understand. Inside I just want to cry. I’m frustrated. I feel my significant other is not that supportive. Thank God for some friends, not all. I find myself looking at the days as long, dreadful, painful at times. Forgive me for being so down at times. I know you’re real, and I know you see my plight. Help me to hold on. Teach me to find rest in Your strength and courage in Your love. When I feel small, remind me You are mighty. When I grow weary, remind me You are near. Bless this Saturday with peace, purpose, and the quiet joy of knowing I’m never alone. May these Saturday Blessings of Encouragement help someone, including me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
