Prayer Journal Entries for this week will be focused on prayers for Israel and all who are affected by the ongoing war against Hamas. The conflict that commenced on October 7th has evolved into the deadliest of the five Gaza wars, claiming over 4,000 lives on both sides. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the toll stands at 2,750 Palestinians killed and 9,700 wounded. Meanwhile, more than 1,400 Israelis have lost their lives, with at least 199 others, including children, reportedly captured by Hamas and taken into Gaza, as per Israel’s reports.
In response to recent lethal attacks, Israel has begun preparations for a ground assault on Gaza, signified by the mobilization of tanks along the border regions. This action is a part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to target Hamas and dismantle its infrastructure.
