Keep praying for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas. In addition, pray the Palestinian people have their eyes opened to the evil Hamas represents.
According to reports, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on Hamas to promptly accept Israel’s truce proposal and release Israeli hostages. Hamas negotiators were set to respond to the proposal during a meeting with Qatari and Egyptian mediators in Cairo. Blinken emphasized the generosity of Israel’s proposal while speaking at the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.

Hamas is currently evaluating a new framework proposed by Egypt. This proposal suggests that Hamas release up to 33 hostages who were kidnapped from Israel. In return, there would be a pause in hostilities in Gaza.

Today’s Prayer for the Release of Israeli Hostages
Heavenly Father,
We come before you in this time of great distress, lifting our hearts and minds in prayer for the safe release of the Israeli hostages currently held by Hamas. We ask for Your divine intervention as Hamas evaluates the proposal set forth by Egypt, in which the release of up to 33 hostages is suggested in exchange for a pause in hostilities in Gaza.
We pray for the strength and resilience of the survivors who have endured the horrors of the attacks, and we ask for healing and peace to envelope their hearts and minds as they recover from the traumatic experiences they faced at the hands of Hamas. May Your comforting presence be with them as they seek to overcome the memories of their ordeal.
As pressure mounts on the terrorist group to comply with the terms of the cease-fire and facilitate the release of more hostages, we implore You, Lord, to guide the hearts of those involved in these negotiations. Grant them wisdom, empathy, and a desire for peaceful resolution.
We ask for Your mercy and grace to touch the hearts of all involved, that they may be moved to act in accordance with Your will, seeking reconciliation and restoration rather than further discord and suffering.
We offer this prayer in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
