When it’s all going crazy, our greatest challenge is to answer this question: Have you prayed about it?
That’s where I am right now.
So between family drama and doing my work, I discovered today that my good deed of trying to pay bills early also went belly up. Apparently the money came out of the wrong account and so that stirred on even more confusion. And in the middle of it all you ask yourself, “What do I even say to Jesus right now?” You’re angry, confused, saddened, shaking, and nothing seems to be going right.
If you’re there, we must remember prayer is also there too. Even when we do not have the words to put it all into context for understanding, God knows. So you pray for me, and I’ll pray for you. If you’re reading this, and it’s Monday, be encouraged. I remember the Lord saw it and heard it too. In the end, was it really a bad day or did I learn things that were delivered to me roughly? That is indeed the question.
Today I pray for you: The person that may feel everything is just falling down all at the same time. All is not lost.
Prayer for better days
A Prayer for Those Having a Tough Day
Heavenly Father,
In moments of chaos and confusion, when it feels like everything is falling apart, we come to You seeking solace and strength. Today, we lift up all those who are experiencing overwhelming challenges and setbacks. We acknowledge that even when we cannot find the right words to express our distress, You understand the cries of our hearts.
Help me stand, Oh Lord.
For the individual who is bearing the weight of family struggles, financial difficulties, or unexpected hurdles, we ask for Your comforting presence to surround them. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding fill their hearts and minds. Grant them the assurance that they are not alone in their struggles.
Help me stand, Oh Lord.
As we navigate through these trials, may we be reminded of Your unwavering love and faithfulness. Help us to find the courage to lift our prayers to You, knowing that You are always ready to listen. When we feel like our strength is fading, empower us with Your resilience and hope.
Help me stand, Oh Lord.
Today, we pray for brighter days ahead. May Your light shine upon us, guiding our steps and renewing our spirits. Grant us the wisdom to recognize the lessons hidden within these challenges and the grace to emerge stronger.
In the assurance of Your unending grace, we place our trust. Amen.
