This week’s Monday Prayer Blessings are based off the busiest Father’s Day weekend I’ve had in a while. Did I mention it was also peaceful?
That’s right, peaceful. But as I get older I am beginning to realize weekend getaways can be quite a workout on my body, so here are some things I learned before we pray over the week that isn’t promised to us:
- Get a good hotel. Don’t go cheap like, ever. You’ll wake up like you fell off the third floor of your house. Save the money, make the investment.
- Speaking of money, save a couple of hundred so that you can truly enjoy yourself sans the worry of running out of money.
- Should be first: Pray over your time away. Cannot emphasize this enough.

Monday Prayer Blessings: A Prayer To Lean On
Heavenly Father,
As we rise from the refreshment of a long weekend, we thank You for the moments of rest and rejuvenation. Help us to carry this peaceful spirit into the workweek ahead. Guide our hearts and minds as we set our intentions for the days to come. May we be filled with Your wisdom and strength, ready to face the tasks before us with grace and determination.
As we transition back into our routines, remind us to seek Your presence in every moment. Help us to find joy in our work and purpose in our daily responsibilities. Allow us to spread kindness and encouragement to those around us, shining Your light in our workplaces.
Embracing New Opportunities
Heavenly Father,
As we enter this new week, we are grateful for the gift of another opportunity to serve and grow. Help us to embrace the challenges ahead with an open heart. May we remain steadfast in our faith and trust in Your divine plan. Grant us wisdom as we navigate our decisions and inspire us to uplift others along the way.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Finding Strength in Adversity
Gracious Lord,
As we embark on this week, we acknowledge that life may bring unforeseen challenges. We ask for Your strength to face any adversities that cross our path. May we find resilience through our struggles and remain grounded in Your love. Let our faith be a beacon of hope for ourselves and others.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Cultivating Gratitude
Dear God,
Thank You for the blessings of the past week and the opportunity that lies ahead. Inspire us to cultivate a spirit of gratitude amidst our daily tasks. Help us to recognize the small joys and victories in our lives, and may our hearts overflow with thankfulness as we share Your love with those around us.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Seeking Peace in Chaos
Lord of Peace,
As we step into this week, we seek Your tranquility amidst the chaos of our everyday lives. Help us to find calm in the storm and serenity in our hearts. May our minds be focused on positivity, allowing us to spread Your peace and kindness wherever we go.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Embracing Change
Eternal Father,
This week may bring changes we did not foresee. We ask for Your guidance as we adapt to new circumstances. Grant us the courage to embrace transformation and the wisdom to see Your hand at work in every situation. May we grow closer to You as we navigate these transitions.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We ask for Your blessings upon this week, that we may find success in our endeavors and the courage to overcome challenges.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
