Finding Faith begins today with a moment of waiting on God—an invitation to slow your breath, quiet your thoughts, and tune into what truly matters around you. Today, we pray for those who are standing in the gap—waiting for healing, clarity, or a shift. Just know this: God will make a way. Today we travel to Isaiah 43:16–19.
God Will Make a Way—Even on a Friday
Fridays carry a mix of sighs and hopes. For some, it’s relief that the week is over. For others, it’s a reminder that the thing you were waiting for still hasn’t come. And yet, tucked inside this ordinary day is a quiet reminder: God will make a way.
That promise doesn’t come with a GPS or a timeline. It comes with a track record. He’s the God who carved paths through oceans, who made water pour from rocks, who whispered life into dry bones. And He’s still making a way right here, right now.
Don’t let the silence fool you. Don’t let the delay convince you He’s forgotten. God’s not pacing nervously. He’s preparing something. Something new. And even if it’s just a flicker today, He’s not done writing your story.

Bible Reading to Consider
Isaiah 43:16–19 says,
“This is what the Lord says—he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Finding Faith in Liturgy: A Moment of Prayer
- Call: Lord, this week has left some of us drained, discouraged, or distracted.
Response: Thank You for being the God who shows up anyway—faithful and kind. - Call: Even when we don’t see the path forward, You’re still parting waters.
Response: We choose to trust that You’re making a way, even in the silence. - Call: We’re letting go of what didn’t work, what didn’t change, and what didn’t come through.
Response: We open our hands to receive the new thing You are doing. - Call: Speak to our hearts today, and help us notice the quiet signs of Your work.
Response: Breathe new strength into us as we walk into the weekend. - Call: Thank You, God, for not just leading us out—but for leading us forward.
Response: You will make a way, and we will follow. Amen.
Each day, Get Prayer Today offers a prayer to help us slow down and lift up the needs of the world around us. Finding Faith gives these simple reflections to support your rhythm of prayer, healing, and hope.
