A First Day of School Prayer for My Child

Heavenly Father, thank You for my child and for the beginning of a new school year. Thank You for every opportunity they will have to learn, grow, make friends, and discover more about the gifts You placed within them.

Please go before my child on the first day of school. Calm every anxious thought and replace fear with peace. Give my child confidence when entering the classroom, courage when facing something new, and wisdom when making decisions. Check out our prayer guide for worry to help.
