Finding Faith means trusting in God’s promise of spiritual healing and restoration. Today we travel to Revelation 21:4 and rest in its promise of ultimate comfort.
We are praying for Charlie Kirk’s family and entrusting their sorrow to God’s care. Kirk, a prominent conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University during his “American Comeback Tour.” The shot came from a nearby building, and although a person of interest clad in all-black tactical gear was initially detained, authorities later clarified that the individual in custody was not the shooter—and the perpetrator remains at large

Bible Reading To Consider
Revelation 21:4 (NIV)
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
This verse deserves our meditation when hearts are weighed down. It reassures us that God will one day undo every tear.

A Prayer for Charlie Kirk’s Family
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Charlie Kirk’s family. Their grief is deep and their sorrow is raw. Yet we cling to Your promise in Revelation 21:4 that one day You will remove every tear and banish mourning, crying, and pain. Until that day arrives, let them feel Your loving presence in tangible ways, through comforting words, compassionate beside companionship, and spiritual rest.
Grant them moments of peace that quiet anxious thoughts. When grief surfaces, remind them of Your final promise of restoration. Surround them with friends, church members, and caregivers whose faith is steady, their words are kind, and their hearts reflect Your compassion.
Help them understand that being present with sorrow does not mean moving on too quickly. Instead, may they find grace and space to grieve. As they grieve, give them glimpses of hope that point toward the day when sorrow is no more.
Strengthen those caring for this family, friends, counselors, pastors, to speak with wisdom, listen with patience, and pray with intentionality. Let their support carry evidence of Your healing care.
Lord, in darkness and uncertainty, be their guiding light. Let prayer become a refuge, Scripture become comfort, and Your Spirit become peace within their restless hearts. Let every day bring them closer to the deep assurance that Your promise endures.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
