Praying for your children yet? According to reports, the Sound of Freedom has been a surprise box office hit, grossing over $100 million worldwide against a budget of just $14.5 million. The Sound of Freedom is based on the true story of Tim Ballard, a former federal agent who founded Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), a non-profit organization that rescues children from sex trafficking. The film follows Ballard as he travels to Colombia to rescue a group of Honduran children who have been kidnapped and forced into prostitution.

Now, considering everything we know about child trafficking statistics to the child trafficking news we read, has this movie and the increased awareness changed your prayer life when it comes to praying for children? I see people getting so excited about this movie and defending it passionately. The media is going crazy about it on both sides.
Are you praying for your children? Are you praying? Has the Sound of Freedom changed your prayer perspective? If you’re not spring boarding off of the hype of this movie and the purpose of this movie to plant seeds for God’s Kingdom then it’s just a movie for you and everyone else. The one thing we as Believers need to do more of is PRAY. I don’t know when it happened, but somehow we allowed Satan to hijack the discussion of prayer and now when people say that it is mocked and disregarded.
Pray on our International Prayer Chain
Pleas join our campaign to pray for the children of this world today!
This is why we need to reclaim the importance of prayer in this world and get serious about it. In The Bible, James 2:17-26 states, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
Our response to our faith in Jesus Christ is prayer. It is our communication to the world of the Lord to receive instruction, power, and fight the evils of this world through His power. And it’s belief in the power of the Lord we need to regain our foothold. Hold it accountable! Jesus says to look to Him! Pray like something is going to happen! Don’t let the Sound of Freedom be a flash in the pan moment for taking care of our children. PRAY.

Prayer For The Children Of The World
Prayer For The Children Of The World
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for the children of this world. You have entrusted us with the precious lives of these young ones, and we recognize the importance of lifting them up in prayer. As they navigate through the challenges of life, we ask that You surround them with Your loving arms, offering safety, comfort, and strength.
Lord, we pray for the children who are facing the harsh realities of abuse, neglect, and trafficking. You see their pain and suffering, and we ask that You intervene in their lives. Bring rescue to those who are lost and heal the wounds of their hearts. May Your light shine brightly in their darkness, filling them with hope and a sense of worth.
We also pray for the children in our communities, schools, and neighborhoods. Shield them from harm and negativity. Instill in them a spirit of courage and resilience, helping them grow in wisdom and compassion. May they find joy in their surroundings and learn to love and support one another.
Father, we ask that You raise up warriors to advocate for children’s rights and protection. Equip parents, teachers, and mentors with the wisdom to guide each child toward a future filled with promise. Help us to be vigilant and proactive in creating safe environments for them to thrive.
Finally, remind us to pray fervently for these children, knowing that our prayers can effect change. Strengthen our faith as we stand together in unity, believing that with You, all things are possible. Let our hearts be ignited with a passion to care for every child, reflecting Your love in our actions.
In Jesus’ Name, we pray, Amen.
