Praying for your children yet? According to reports, the Sound of Freedom has been a surprise box office hit, grossing over $100 million worldwide against a budget of just $14.5 million. The Sound of Freedom is based on the true story of Tim Ballard, a former federal agent who founded Operation Underground Railroad (OUR), a non-profit organization that rescues children from sex trafficking. The film follows Ballard as he travels to Colombia to rescue a group of Honduran children who have been kidnapped and forced into prostitution.

Now, considering everything we know about child trafficking statistics to the child trafficking news we read, has this movie and the increased awareness changed your prayer life when it comes to praying for children? I see people getting so excited about this movie and defending it passionately. The media is going crazy about it on both sides.
Are you praying for your children? What about the children that are at the bus stop? What about the children in your neighborhood? What about the children at the elementary, primary, and high schools? Are you praying? Has the Sound of Freedom changed your prayer perspective? If you’re not spring boarding off of the hype of this movie and the purpose of this movie to plant seeds for God’s Kingdom then it’s just a movie for you and everyone else. The one thing we as Believers need to do more of is PRAY. I don’t know when it happened, but somehow we allowed Satan to hijack the discussion of prayer and now when people say that it is mocked and disregarded.
Pleas join our campaign to pray for the children of this world today!
This is why we need to reclaim the importance of prayer in this world and get serious about it. In The Bible, James 2:17-26 states, “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” Our response to our faith in Jesus Christ is prayer. It is our communication to the world of the Lord to receive instruction, power, and fight the evils of this world through His power. And it’s belief in the power of the Lord we need to regain our foothold. Hold it accountable! Jesus says to look to Him! Pray like something is going to happen! Don’t let the Sound of Freedom be a flash in the pan moment for taking care of our children. PRAY.
