This week I’ve put gather some Monday Scriptures to help calm anxiety. Why? Cause I deal with it. It’s Monday, and the week hasn’t even begun to settle, but your mind already feels crowded. Maybe you’re thinking about everything that needs to get done or what could go wrong. When that happens, remember that God knows how to meet you in those moments.
You don’t have to rush through them. Read slowly, reflect deeply, and after each verse, pray and invite God to do what only He can do. Let this be a gentle start to your week steady, quiet, and focused.

Monday Scriptures For Today (And This Week)
I would recommend focusing on one scripture and prayer each day to pace yourself and really focus on praying for God’s strength to deal with the anxiety. It works for me.
1. Psalm 94:19 (NIV)
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”
Prayer:
“Father, when my thoughts begin to spiral, speak peace over my heart. Help me rest in Your comfort and remember that You are my steady place.”
2. Proverbs 12:25 (NLT)
“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.”
Prayer:
“Lord, replace the weight of worry with words of hope. Lift my spirit today and remind me that You are working things out even when I cannot see it.”
3. Isaiah 26:3 (NRSV)
“You keep those in perfect peace whose minds are stayed on You, because they trust in You.”
Prayer:
“God, fix my thoughts on You. Help me let go of every anxious concern and trust that You will bring peace where fear once ruled.”
4. Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV)
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for fighting for me when I feel weak. Let the sound of Your love quiet every voice of fear and remind me that I am never alone.”
5. Psalm 61:2 (ESV)
“From the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Prayer:
“Father, lift me higher when I feel low. Be my anchor in the storm and the rock that steadies my faith when life feels uncertain.”
6. Nahum 1:7 (NIV)
“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.”
Prayer:
“God, thank You for being my safe place. When fear rises, remind me that Your goodness is bigger than my anxiety and Your care never fails.”

7. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 (CSB)
“He who calls you is faithful; He will do it.”
Prayer:
“Lord, You have never broken a promise. I put my week in Your hands and trust You to do what only You can do. Fill me with peace that lasts.”
A Monday Thought To Carry With You
Peace doesn’t wait for everything to work out. It comes when you place everything in God’s hands. These Monday scriptures to help calm anxiety remind us that peace isn’t fragile; it’s firm. God’s calm doesn’t fade when life gets loud, it grows stronger.
Capture every thought as scripture tells us to do, and bring it under the rulership of Jesus Christ. Focus on the positives, don’t dive too deep into people’s words, and focus on the goals ahead. That’s all you have to do.
If anxiety follows you into the week, don’t run from it. Bring it to God. He knows how to turn your worry into worship and your restlessness into renewal.
