Getting through the week can be a journey sometimes. Here’s a Wednesday Prayer to keep things in perspective.
You start with goals and good intentions, but by Wednesday—life happens. That’s where prayer steps in, grounding your heart and steadying your thoughts. Philippians 4:6 (NIV) reminds us, “Do not be anxious about anything… but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Today, take a breath and:
- Pause for three minutes of quiet prayer
- Write one thing you’re grateful for
- Check in on someone who might need encouragement

Wednesday Prayer: Lord, Help Me Pace This Week!
Today Lord, I got up, and I did something different: I texted my family the plan for the day. As a result, yes, things have been going quiet smooth. Thank you for this idea and your revelation.
Sometimes we can panic about the worry of the week. However, having You as our guide you deliver your Word via the Holy Spirit to show us new and innovative ways to love and communicate effectively. As a result our mental and physical health improves. We confess we think more than we should when it comes to the week we’re in. Help us remember in this Wednesday prayer that as we get to the middle of each week, these weeks are YOURS. The day is YOURS.
I’m aware nothing is mine, I just help to maintain it. And while I do plan like we all do, help me to remember it is you who plans our steps. Perspective is indeed everything. May my days be a blessing to others and give your name the Glory and Honor it deserves. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, we pray, Amen.
