“Then Jesus asked, ‘What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.’”
The Nature Of The Kingdom: Small Beginnings with Big Purpose
One of the most important truths about the nature of the kingdom is that it never starts out big. God’s way is different from our way. He begins with what looks insignificant. That’s the beauty of the mustard seed. It may seem tiny, but inside is everything it needs to become exactly what God designed it to be.
Friend, maybe you feel like what God has placed in your hands is too small to make a difference. Don’t be fooled by its size. The nature of the kingdom is that little becomes much when God is in it.

- Know the Identity of Your Seed – Your gifts and calling are unique to you.
- Plant It Where You Live – Take steps of obedience right where you are.
