This Friday prayer is your chance to reflect on everything God has carried you through. Did you realize it’s the final Friday of 2025? You Ready for 2026? It hasn’t all been easy, but you’re still standing. You made it to the last weekend of the year, and that’s no small thing.

Maybe this year tested your patience or pushed your faith further than you thought it could go. Maybe it wasn’t all good, but it was all grace. Before you rush into what’s next, take a second to thank God for keeping you and guiding you this far. This moment right here, this quiet pause on the last Friday prayer of the year, is your invitation to end the year strong, not in exhaustion but in gratitude.
When I think about what’s ahead, God willing, if I get to see it, one verse comes to mind:
Philippians 3:13–14 (KJV)
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
That’s what this end of year prayer is really about, letting go, pressing forward, and trusting God with what comes next. I’m ready for 2026 because of this mindset. Are you?

🙏 A Friday Prayer to End the Year Strong
Heavenly Father,
Here I am again , the last Friday of the year. Lord, You’ve seen every step I’ve taken, every mistake I’ve made, and every tear I’ve cried. And through it all, You’ve never left me. Thank You for being faithful when I wasn’t, for being patient when I struggled, and for carrying me when I couldn’t carry myself.
I can look back on 2025 and see Your hand in places I didn’t expect. You were there in the quiet moments, in the late nights, in the battles I never spoke about. You were there when I didn’t know what to do next, and You gave me just enough light to take one more step.
So right now, Lord, I pause to give You thanks. This isn’t just another end of year prayer, it’s a celebration of Your goodness. You’ve been my anchor in the storm and my joy in the morning. You’ve taught me that even when life feels uncertain, You remain the same.
Father, as I get ready to step into a new year, help me leave behind what doesn’t belong there, the worry, the regret, the fear, and the weight I was never meant to carry. I don’t want to drag yesterday into tomorrow. Instead, I want to walk into 2026 with open hands and a steady heart.
Renew my faith, Lord. Fill me with strength that doesn’t come from my own effort, but from Your Spirit. Give me courage to trust You more deeply and the humility to follow wherever You lead.
Help me remember that to end the year strong isn’t about perfection, it’s about peace. It’s about knowing You’ve already gone before me, preparing the way. Thank You for being the same yesterday, today, and forever.
So here’s my final Friday prayer of 2025: I’m still here, still standing, still believing. And as I look ahead, I know You’ll be right where You’ve always been, by my side. I’m ready for 2026 and I’m excited.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
