Psalm 73:26: Great Friday Inspiration To Begin The Weekend

Psalm 73:26 is a reminder that even though they told you  it would be a hard week, Jesus Christ had other plans.

Someone out there is still looking for a job. Someone is dealing with worry. Maybe you’re dealing with the stress of making sure your college-educated kids get the job of their dreams. Maybe, just maybe you’re stressed out about their stress. Ever done that? If you’re a parent, you have.

There is a lot to worry about during the week, and every week is like a snowflake. But God! This is where Psalm 73:26 comes into play when it comes to your Friday inspiration:

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Psalm 73:26: Praying For A Strong Close To A God-Filled Week

There is nothing like reading a Psalm that matches how you feel right? I hope the following prayer inspires you in your walk with Jesus Christ:

Lord, it’s been a long week. I’ve been stressed and worrying too much about what’s to come, forgetting my days are ordered by you. Help me be more confident in your provision. Thank you for getting me through this week. There were times my mind drifted into negativity and that is wrong, but when I get alone and pray I am so thankful at the peace you provide always.

Continue to help people working through tears, fighting internal rage, and who fight the wars of their minds alone. It’s not about being perfect: It’s about knowing that through Jesus Christ, your life is indeed worth the journey. Remind them Christ died for their sins, even if they do not know Him yet.

Even as I write these words, I’m going through my own battles Lord, and I thank you for remembering me. I will forever trust, serve, and obey your Word. Nothing will separate me from you. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
