Finding Faith means knowing the rapture rumors are false and learning how to discern truth from noise. Today we travel to Matthew 24:36.
The rapture has become a trending topic again because of a prophecy someone posted on TikTok. Many are anxious, wondering if tomorrow is the day, or if a viral video is telling the truth.

But Scripture reminds us that our faith is not built on timelines invented by strangers online. Jesus Himself says in Matthew 24:36 that no one knows the day or the hour, not even the angels, not even the Son, but only the Father.
That means no TikTok prophet, no influencer, and no modern voice can declare the timing of His return. Instead of chasing predictions, Jesus calls us to stay faithful, keep watch, and live each day ready to meet Him.
Bible Reading To Consider
Matthew 24:36 (NIV):
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
Finding Faith in Liturgy: A Moment of Prayer
Call: Lord, remind us of Your truth.
Response: We trust in Your Word and not in human predictions.
Call: Keep us awake and ready in faith. Response: We will live each day with hope and obedience.
A Prayer for Today
Father, we come before You with open hearts, aware of the noise that surrounds us. Videos and voices online stir fear, declaring the rapture is tomorrow or next week. But Your Son has already spoken with clarity.
No one knows the day or the hour except You. Lord, help us release the need for predictions and instead live in the freedom of trusting You each day. May we be ready not by chasing dates, but by walking in obedience, loving our neighbors, and sharing the gospel.
Remind us that faith is not fear, and that preparation is not panic, but prayerful living. Strengthen us so that when Christ returns, He finds us faithful and steady, not distracted by every rumor of prophecy. Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. In His name we pray, Amen.
Each day, Get Prayer Today offers a prayer to center our hearts and lift up the needs of the world around us. Finding Faith gives these simple offerings to support your rhythm of reflection, healing, and community care.
