Our Monday morning prayers and blessings are meant to motivate you to begin the week with strength and clarity. Today, I step into something I have not done since June 2025. I return to work. Although it is part time, it represents forward momentum. Therefore, this message also includes a heartfelt prayer for success.
This morning, I teach Tai Chi in person for the first time. Over the past several months, I have shared online classes here. However, standing before a live group feels different. It demands focus. It requires presence. Most importantly, it calls for faith. I do have an Online Tai Chi class I’ve launched as well!

To be honest, 2026 has been a year of reinvention. Perhaps you understand that feeling. Reinvention rarely arrives loudly. Instead, it appears quietly through obedience. At times, it stretches your comfort zone. Even so, growth never develops inside ease.
Yes, I feel nervous. Nevertheless, I also feel steady. The reason is simple. Matthew 19:26 reminds me where real strength begins. (Read Matthew 19 here.)
“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
The Context Behind Matthew 19:26
In this passage, Jesus had just spoken with the rich young ruler. The man desired eternal life; however, he struggled to release what held his heart. As a result, he walked away saddened. Consequently, the disciples questioned how anyone could be saved.
Jesus responded directly. Human effort alone cannot produce spiritual transformation. On our own, we encounter limits. Yet through God’s power, what seems unreachable becomes attainable.
Although the conversation focused on salvation, the principle extends further. It applies to courage. It applies to calling. Furthermore, it strengthens every prayer for success whispered at the beginning of a new season.
Therefore, when I walk into my Tai Chi class today, I do not depend solely on preparation. Instead, I rely on God’s guidance. Because of that, I move forward with confidence rather than fear.

Reinvention, Faith, and Forward Movement
Tai Chi emphasizes balance and controlled movement. Similarly, faith emphasizes steady trust. You breathe intentionally, move deliberately, resist panic.
Perhaps you are starting a new job. Maybe you are rebuilding after disappointment. Alternatively, you could be stepping into unfamiliar territory. Whatever your situation, remember this: Monday morning prayers and blessings anchor your heart in truth. So be encouraged! It’s about starting!
Jesus Christ leads those who believe. Consequently, belief becomes the bridge between anxiety and action. When doubt whispers, truth answers. Because of that, reinvention transforms into opportunity.
Monday Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this new opportunity. You see my excitement, and You understand my nerves. Therefore, I surrender both to You.Your Word in Matthew 19:26 declares that with man this is impossible, but with You all things are possible. Because of that promise, I release fear and embrace faith.
Bless the class I teach today. Guide my words. Strengthen my body. Calm my thoughts. This is my prayer for success. Not success measured by applause. Instead, success measured by faithfulness and impact. Direct my steps and establish the work of my hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
